Jordan
The Magnetic Sound Expander (MSE) allows for spontaneous sound design on the fly, without the need for electronics. It is controlled via a control unit on the guitar and allows for the damping of treble frequencies without eliminating the overtones. It is as easy to use as a potentiometer and the setting is clearly visible. The pickups have a mechanically operated magnetic tone control that can be fully or partially covered. The MSE functions as a second-order low-pass filter, which means that treble tones are not completely eliminated above a certain frequency, but are attenuated depending on the frequency, with adjustable intensity.
The MSE offers a wide range of possibilities. For example, overdrive can be reduced in a controlled manner or spontaneously unleashed. Sounds that are too shrill, such as split humbuckers in the bridge position or pickups with high output, can be tamed. The basic sound of the guitar remains unchanged, and the MSE can be easily deactivated by turning all knobs to the right, without the need to disassemble anything.
The Magnetic Sound Expander is registered as a patent (DPMA), international patent applications have been filed and are under review. Jordan guitars with MSE can be found and tested at level 1, booth 255.

JR Instruments
The Grande Nylon from JR Instruments is a copy of one of my first guitars. The original from the 1980s was discovered by a good customer of mine and commissioned from me. The body is about two centimeters wider than that of a standard classical guitar, which gives the Grande Nylon a very crisp bass. In addition, the bracing of the top is designed so that the mids are less prominent than would be required by the classic classical sound. The result is a modern, solid nylon sound that blends perfectly with all modern styles. With its narrow neck of 48 millimeters, it is ideal for guitarists who actually play steel string or electric guitar. The Grande Nylon is the perfect nylon-string guitar for those who don’t like the typical classical guitar sound.

The Lollar Deluxe Foil is a new, unique humbucking pickup design based on the single-coil Lollar Gold Foil, which draws its inspiration from vintage versions built by Teisco in the 1960s. The Deluxe Foil is a bright and punchy humbucker with a shimmering, glassy top end, rich harmonic content, and expressive touch-sensitivity.
The Deluxe Foil has the same footprint as the Fender Wide Range Humbucker. It is a drop-in replacement for guitars routed for Wide Range HBs, offering an easy path to new sounds in a unique enclosure with an eye-catching aesthetic. The larger dual-coil design allows the Deluxe Foil to capture a wider frequency range than many other pickup types, giving the pickup a full yet well-balanced voice.

The B.BEAT PRO16 is a multitrack player for managing sequences on stage, allowing you to manage 24 audio tracks on 16 jack outputs (via submixes), send program changes, sheet music or control changes via the integrated MIDI connection, manage lyrics in sync with the audio or in manual mode, and send videos in full HD via the two HDMI ports. Thanks to the integrated WI-FI antenna, it is also possible to display sheet music organized by instrument with automatic page rotation on all networked devices (PC and Mac, cell phones, Android and iOS tablets) using the free, proprietary prompter application. Designed to deliver a devouring tone, the Vulcan bass features a 34inch scale length. A single- or double pickup configuration is optional and features our new humbucker design with metal mounting rings. N. Perez Guitars
Nicolas Perez is a luthier who builds acoustic guitars with a modern touch. His quest for a special sound has taken him around the world. Born and raised in northern France, his family on his father’s side comes from Chile. His grandfather was a well-known artist and his father was a musician, which had a strong influence on Nicolas. At the age of 17, he moved to England to learn English and take guitar-making classes. There he began to handcraft instruments such as guitars, ukuleles and mandolins.
After his apprenticeship, he traveled around Europe and Southeast Asia, particularly Japan, to find inspiration. In 2021, he opened his own workshop in Berlin-Weißensee. There, he develops new designs and techniques, preparing the wood himself and using materials such as German spruce, wenge, and rosewood. To protect the wood, he applies shellac layer by layer, using an old French method.
His guitars have a traditional look but offer special features such as a removable neck that allows for personalized configuration and cost-effective repairs. His instruments are heavy, but retain their deep sound and energy. His main customers are guitar enthusiasts who appreciate handcrafted sounds.

Nobels presents two new versions of their legendary overdrive pedals, available in stores from November 2024. The ODR-1X stays true to the signature sound of the ODR-1, but offers new features based on user feedback. With the new Bass Cut control, a switchable True Bypass or Buffered Bypass selector, and a remotely switchable HiGain Boost switch, the ODR-1X offers greater versatility. The SPECTRUM control adjusts low mids and highs simultaneously, while leaving mid frequencies almost untouched. At low settings, it provides warm mids for blues sounds, while turning it clockwise makes the sound more powerful – perfect for hard rock. In addition, a remote jack for dual remote control and the robust metal housing with integrated mounting plates provide more flexibility. Fluorescent knobs and the option of operating the pedal with 9V or 18V round off the package. MSRP: 189 €.
The ODR-mini2, the little brother of the ODR-1, also gets some updates. With a new Bass Cut control, improved mini metal housing and the proven mounting plates, it offers the same sonic advantages as its big brother, while remaining compact and affordable. PB Guitars
The SIRIUS by Peter Bachmaier – PB Guitars will be making its debut at Guitar Summit 2024!
The concept is derived from the ORION and also features sliding pickups. The SIRIUS is optimized for a harder sound. The sustain, which is long enough as it is, has been further improved by the newly developed aluminum headstock.
The lightweight construction with an aluminum base plate and wooden body wings screwed to it allows the guitars to weigh only about 3 kg. The individual bridges consist of aluminum bolts with inserted titanium saddles and provide excellent string separation.
The SIRIUS is designed so that the scale length, the number of frets and the number of strings can be customized for each customer.
And, as you would expect from a proper guitar maker, the workmanship, ergonomics and feel are of course of the very highest quality.

PCL Musical Instuments
In collaboration with JCA, PCL Musical Instruments has developed a new tube amplifier that fits into a stage and living room-compatible enclosure and truly lives up to the name “Vintage Amp”. At the moment, we have preselected a Celestion G12T-75 or a Celestion Vintage 30 as the speaker, although we can of course supply a different speaker at the customer’s request. The sound and dynamics develop even at low volume settings. We achieve this through a stepless power control of the power amp instead of the usual master volume control.
The amp thus also responds extremely well to the guitar’s volume pot, making everything from almost clean sound to high gain possible. The amplifier is completely manufactured by PCL in Germany. We even manufacture the leather handle and the case feet made of Spessart oak ourselves, guitar amplifiers made in Germany.

Projekt Wormhole
Projekt Wormhole is an international community of professional and amateur guitar makers who give new life to old, worm-eaten guitar bodies. The old bodies were salvaged from a 400-year-old abandoned house and date back to the 1960s. They therefore date back to the heyday of German instrument making. Other finds come from old carpentry workshops or are bequests from guitar makers. Projekt Wormhole continues the work of its ancestors and thus also demonstrates a little sustainability. The guitars will be presented to the public for the first time at Guitar Summit 2024.

Rapier introduces three new models, redesigned, upgraded, and modified by luthier and designer Alan Entwistle. These instruments pay homage to the iconic models that played a significant role in the UK during the 1960s and 1970s. The new models – Mercury, Taurus, and Deluxe – expand Rapier’s lineup.

Rockinger Guitars
This model is a reissue of the very first Rockinger guitar from 1978: the legendary Rockinger Lady. The exclusive design was conceived by former company founder Atze Rockinger and has lost none of its elegance and uniqueness to this day. It is not without reason that the Rockinger Lady has also found its way into Tony Bacon’s “Ultimate Guitar Book”.
The lightweight guitar has an American red alder body and a roasted maple neck with a rosewood fretboard. Due to the long tenon bolt-on construction (the heel of the neck extends far into the body), it is extremely easy to play up to the highest registers and sounds unbelievably good. Even unplugged, it reveals impressive vibrancy and endless sustain. The guitar is equipped with a Rockinger PAF-ECT Custom bridge humbucker, which can be accessed either as a pure humbucker, with filter coil wiring or split via the 3-way switch. Other features include the Kluson split shaft custom tuners, the stylish pot knobs and the custom stainless steel neck plate with the Rockinger “R”.

At the Guitar Summit, RODENBERG amplification is presenting the brand new SL-OD DELUXE Steve Lukather Signature Overdrive pedal, developed in collaboration with Steve Lukather.
