At the “Friday & Saturday Night in Concert” shows, a number of artists who were performing on the workshop and masterclass stages during the day will come together again in the Mozartsaal for another great performance.

On Friday evening, Jared James Nichols will be performing with his band, whose sound masterfully mixes blues rock à la Hendrix, Cream or Led Zeppelin with a good pinch of grunge and hard rock. The power rock trio will also be joined by some illustrious guests such as Phil X, Matteo Mancuso, Andy Wood and more!

Before that, an absolute highlight is waiting for you, as none other than the absolute fingerstyle legend Tommy Emmanuel CGP will take to the stage. The maestro from Down Under has taken the acoustic subgenre to a whole new level with his work and will give you goosebumps with his brilliant playing.

But before Tommy Emmanuel enchants the audience, British acoustic guitar virtuoso Mike Dawes takes to the stage. Mike Dawes has already worked with Tommy Emmanuel in the past and currently accompanies him on tour as support.

Friday evening will kick off with the outstanding German jazz musician Torsten Goods, who will provide a rousing opening with his band and set the perfect mood for the following highlights with his impressive guitar technique, engaging voice and charisma.

A collection of rock, funk, jazz and country, served up with heavy grooves, dynamic improvisations and a good dose of guitar madness awaits you on Saturday evening with Greg Koch and his Koch Marshall Trio. But that’s not all, as the Gristle Man takes on the role of master of ceremonies and has some illustrious guests in tow, including Jared James Nichols, Phil X, Andy Wood, Charles Berthoud and many more.

Before that, you can expect a cross-genre musical journey when Matteo Mancuso & Band show off their impressive virtuosity and astonishing playing technique. Things get really exciting when djent pioneer Tosin Abasi and bass wizard Vincen Garcia join them and the two exceptional guitarists deliver what is sure to be a memorable performance.

Look forward to a special bass highlight: the legends Bobby Vega and Jonas Hellborg present themselves from earthy and groovy to experimental and complex – Antonio Winkler on drums will provide the right groove.
